High End Residential Scheme in the heart of London, landscaped and sustainably built within private gardens with restaurants, luxury spa, squash courts and gym facilities. Project is due to run into 2025, following on from this, there are other schemes already secured in a healthy pipeline.

Boasting a presence of over 90 years, this Client has been distinguished in delivering M&E Projects successfully within time and budget, a good mixture of repeat business and new Clients adding to an impressive portfolio. With recently appointed Directors, specifically targeted to bolster existing Client relationships whilst developing new business this business shows great signs of career development.

They champion CPD, this is clearly demonstrated in their impressive numbers connected to staff retention which ranks in the top 5 within the industry. Testament to their in-house training / Apprenticeships where many staff have exceeded over 20 years’ service.

You will be a “seasoned” Mechanically biased Project / Contracts Manager offering a solid Residential portfolio who can strongly demonstrate a “Firm but Fair” approach.
Client facing, you will represent this Contractor in meetings with this new Client, ownership of the meeting will be needed.

With full autonomy, you will lead a £16m scheme, Mechanically lead (£10m) supported by 2 Project Managers (1xElectrical & 1xMechanical) and a full site team, delivering this Project within time and budget.

    You'll collaborate closely with the other members of the Technical Department and Engineering Team and oversee projects through their entire lifecycle. You'll prepare performance specifications, review tender documents, appoint specialist M&E Consultants, review their designs, specifications, and schematics, attend DTM's and monitor projects during key milestones.

    Reporting to the Head of Building Services, you'll use your HVAC design skills as you review consultants designs and ensure they meet their inhouse technical standards, best practices, British standards and CIBSE guidelines. You'll also liaise with manufactures on all M&E systems and promote the use of innovative technologies to ensure every design is consistent, cost effective and sustainable.

    You'll use your expert HVAC Design skills to ensure the consultants are not overengineering systems and ensure value engineering is at the core of the design process.

    As projects progress to site, you'll help monitor the sub-contractor's electrical and mechanical installation progress of works. You'll help identify any technical issues or risks, respond to any RFI's, and keep the Head of Building Services updated with any changes.

    Benefits

    • Basic salary up to £65K

    • Company wide bonus, usually 10% of your basic salary.
