Are you a Building Services Logistics Manager looking to join a secure and stable business with a buoyant pipeline of secured high profile projects running into 2027 demonstrating a track record of excellent staff retention?

Joining an existing team of M&E Professionals, you will oversee a team of 75+ and lead organisation of the Logistics and Stores, working on the largest Hyperscale Data Centre in London due to run for another 4/5 years.

You will show a detailed knowledge of Logistics, having ideally worked with a Tier 1 MEP Contractor. With a good understanding of Commercial, Health, Safety and Environmental systems you will be able to identify the strengths and weaknesses within the team and have experience of lift plans, a lifting qualification would be beneficial. Previous experience within the Mission Critical space on Projects circa. £50-100m would be advantageous.

Other roles and responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring material deliveries are fully co-ordinated and managing the process of getting materials into project and to workface.
  • Acting as a liaison with the off-site manufacturing facility to ensure the prefabricate elements are delivered to site as required.
  • Maintaining an efficient and accurate day-to-day running of the stores.
  • Overseeing the operation of stock control measures within the stores
  • Checking stock into the stores and issuing stock.
  • Ensuring that stock is ordered correctly including the quantity and specification
  • Tracking orders to ensure orders are delivered on time and to the right location
  • Ensuring safe & correct handling of stock.
  • Loading and unloading of deliveries co-ordination of deliveries via an online system
  • All waste, fuel, materials, and transport information correctly uploaded onto SmartWaste within the specified timeframe.
  • Attending weekly co-ordination meetings with the main contractor and ensuring a fully coordinated approach for getting materials to work face.
  • All materials information, including quantities and type, correctly submitted via monthly progress reports.
  • Monthly total volume of product by manufacture & product type to be uploaded to the Smart Waste platform.
  • Monitoring & managing project Zero avoidable waste action from their Environmental / Sustainability Action Plan.
  • Manage and assist the Company HSE advisor with environmental inspections and reporting, to be completed weekly.
  • Environmental Toolbox Talks delivered to whole Logistics team monthly, recorded with the HSE advisor.

    You'll use your expert HVAC Design skills to ensure the consultants are not overengineering systems and ensure value engineering is at the core of the design process.

    As projects progress to site, you'll help monitor the sub-contractor's electrical and mechanical installation progress of works. You'll help identify any technical issues or risks, respond to any RFI's, and keep the Head of Building Services updated with any changes.
