Job Description

We are keen to speak with Building Services MEP Health & Safety Advisors to be based on 2 High Profile Projects in London.
You will demonstrate a minimum of 4 years of Health & Safety experience within a comparable M&E or Construction Company. A recognized qualification, such as the NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent and knowledge of ISO systems and their implementation is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Health & Safety audits and inspections, and compile reports on H&S performance.
  • Collect H&S data and statistics, implementing various H&S initiatives at the site level to foster performance and cultural improvements.
  • Ensure all safety and quality calibration compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with H&S legislation and industry standards.
  • Develop suitable and sufficient Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • Review and evaluate the Risk Assessments and Method Statements of subcontractors.
  • Receive client H&S reports, attend internal and client safety meetings, and communicate and implement any required actions.

    You'll use your expert HVAC Design skills to ensure the consultants are not overengineering systems and ensure value engineering is at the core of the design process.

    As projects progress to site, you'll help monitor the sub-contractor's electrical and mechanical installation progress of works. You'll help identify any technical issues or risks, respond to any RFI's, and keep the Head of Building Services updated with any changes.

    Benefits

    • Basic salary up to £65K
    • Travel / Car Allowance of £4,500
